Casa Laguna's "Chef's Garden" Will Provide Fresh Tomatoes and Herbs

Casa Laguna's "Chef’s Garden" is fully planted and growing. We have three varieties of heirloom tomatoes, including Black Krim, Cherokee Purple, and Brandywine, all grown from seed. Fresh herbs are a very important part of Chef Josh’s culinary creations, and the garden will provide basil (three kinds), oregano, thyme, sage (two kinds), rosemary, lavender, tarragon, cilantro, and a variety of mint. Also, our blackberry bushes are already starting to bud, so we’re hoping for an early crop this year. Casa’s guests can expect some wonderful new menu items made with these fresh, home-grown ingredients. Watch this blog for new pics and updates as the garden grows.
