Policies

All rooms are designed to accommodate one or two adult guests only. The inn is not considered appropriate for children under age 16. There are no facilities or amenities for children, infants, groups, or events. Our rooms, grounds, pool, food, and all services are for the enjoyment and use of registered guests only. No parties or gatherings are allowed. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property--violators may incur a $250 cleaning fee.

Reservation Policies

Reservations must be secured by advance payment of at least one night’s room rate and tax. Rates and availability are subject to change. All rates are per night, based on double occupancy. Rates are not guaranteed until reservation is complete. The daily rate quoted is an average daily rate for the dates chosen. If a reservation is changed, shortened, or extended, the average daily rate may change. Weekends and holidays are subject to minimum stay requirements. Maximum length of stay is fourteen days—no exceptions. Cash and major credit cards (Am Ex., Visa, MC, & Discover) accepted. Personal checks are not accepted for room rental or for any other services.

Cancellations

Read carefully - cancellation policies are strictly enforced. It is impossible to verify “hardship” cancellations. Therefore, all cancellations are treated the same, regardless of the reason given. If guests are concerned about the possibility of incurring processing or cancellation fees, they are strongly suggested to purchase travel insurance.

Advanced payments, less a $25 Processing Fee, are refundable if the reservation is cancelled or changed more than five days prior to arrival. If the reservation is changed or cancelled within five days of arrival, the advanced deposit becomes non-refundable, and you will be charged for the total cost of the entire scheduled stay. Advanced payments are applied to the last night of the scheduled stay. Again, if a guest has any concerns about the strict cancellation policy or the possibility of incurring processing or cancellation fees due to unforeseen circumstances, they are strongly suggested to purchase travel insurance.

When more than five nights are reserved, an advanced payment covering the entire stay is required at the time of reservation. This advanced payment, less a $50 Processing Fee, is refundable if the reservation is changed or cancelled more than thirty days prior to arrival. If the reservations is changed or cancelled within thirty days of arrival, the full advanced payment becomes non-refundable.

When three or more rooms are reserved, an advanced payment covering the entire stay is required at the time of reservation. This advanced payment, less a $50 per room Processing Fee, is refundable if any or all reservations are changed or cancelled more than thirty days prior to arrival. If any or all reservations are changed or cancelled within thirty days of arrival, the full advanced payment becomes non-refundable.

Pet Policies

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, subject to the following restrictions (no exceptions): Non-refundable pet fee of $25 per night, per dog and a two-dog maximum with a 40 lb. limit. Pets may not be left unattended in the room at any time. Staff is always happy to recommend pet-friendly restaurants and/or pet sitters. Pets must be on leash and under guests control when outside of the room. Pets must not be allowed to relieve themselves on property other than in the designated pet area. Guests are expected to clean up after their pets in the designated pet area and respect neighbors’ property. Casa Laguna reserves the right to refuse certain breeds and to evict dangerous or severely annoying dogs and their owners. Violation of pet policies may result in a $250 cleaning or service fee.
