Casa Laguna Inn & Spa was originally constructed in the 1920s as a private residence, with additional buildings added in 1946 as a motor-inn style Laguna Beach hotel. The buildings and grounds were used by artists throughout much of the 20th Century as both a refuge and a unique vantage point on California’s sea coast. Remodeled in 2000 and operated as a bed & breakfast inn since that date, Casa Laguna Inn & Spa now offers guests the opportunity to experience a romantic California coastal getaway in a one-of-a-kind setting. Designed and operated as a tranquil escape for couples and individuals, maximum occupancy is strictly limited. Thus we have no accommodations suitable for families or groups. Casa Laguna has become famous for its gourmet food, superior service, luxurious bedding, and serene terraced-garden setting that is unique among Laguna Beach hotels. Casa Laguna Inn & Spa is situated on a terraced hillside 1.5 miles south of downtown Laguna Beach, California, amid tropic gardens and flower-splashed patios. Expansive views of the blue Pacific are framed by Mission-style architecture and towering palms throughout this Southern Califorina coastal inn. Secluded garden patios invite guests to linger and slow to a pace of a less-hurried era. Casa Laguna’s acclaimed gourmet breakfast and evening wine and hors d'œuvres can be enjoyed in the historic Mission House or Palm Court or guests can arrange to have breakfast brought to their room. Casa Laguna’s many patios and ocean-view pool deck enchant guests with their flowers, fountains and rare Catalina tiles. Another true touch of classic Laguna Beach is the inn’s romantic Bell Tower - the perfect place for couples to toast a spectacular Catalina sunset.

With a much more intimate atmosphere than typical Laguna Beach Hotels, Casa Laguna Inn and Spa has just twenty rooms comprised of ten unique room-types, including smaller “artist” rooms, full and junior suites and a free-standing cottage. All suites, deluxe rooms and the cottage feature jetted double spa tubs. All rooms have either “ambiance” or gas-burning fireplaces, private baths, air conditioning, free internet, refrigerator, CD/DVD players, and a flat-panel HDTV. This Laguna  Beach inn's acclaimed seven-layer bed features luxurious hypoallergenic down toppers, comforters, and pillows. All beds feature luxurious eco-friendly linens. (The inn also offers a choice of non-feather pillows as an alternative.) Additional on-site amenities include a beverage bar (open from 7am to 10pm), a heated pool, massage services, beach chairs, towels, a reservation-only garden soak tub, and umbrellas on-loan if you decide to make the short walk to the beach.

In order to retain romantic ambiance unique amon Laguna Beach hotels, and to assure the safety and serenity of guests, all rooms are designed to accommodate one or two adults only. The inn has no facilities or amenities deemed appropriate for children, infants, groups, or events. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the property. The grounds and amenities are for the use of registered guests only.

Casa Laguna is within walking distance of two popular Laguna Beach restaurants, as well as beaches and tidal pools. The inn is exactly 1.5 miles from downtown Laguna Beach, with its many shops, restaurants, art galleries, and popular summer art festivals.
